About this Study

Macrotrends such as inflation, supply chain disruptions, and labor shortages have been exacerbated by the COVID-19 pandemic. As a result, many industries, including grocery retail, have been forced to rethink how they conduct business. At such a poignant time, we thought to survey 104 tech decision-makers within grocery retail responsible for operations, production, and supply chain within the US and Canada. The interviews were conducted online in August 2022 with a broad range of questions to help us better understand how the industry is responding to these unique challenges.
