Toronto, ON, July 31, 2023–Convenience retailer One Stop has announced an exciting new partnership with the innovative food tech company, Invafresh. Following a successful trial, One Stop will implement Invafresh‘s solution in all 1000 stores.
The collaboration started back in 2022 with a successful trial in 4 stores, showing impressive results, with an average of 14.3% waste reduction in fresh and ambient areas. The partnership between One Stop and Invafresh is a significant step forward in reducing food waste and supporting One Stop’s ambition to reach net zero waste across its full value chain by 2050.
Using Invafresh’s SaaS solution, retailers receive precise product expiration data and smart markdown recommendations, ensuring that soon-to-expire products are sold, not wasted.
“It is always wonderful to see that retailers are embracing the idea that sustainability is an important part of their business. In announcing this partnership with One Stop we are delighted that they have shown their continued commitment to reducing food waste and giving their customers the best offers,” said Ben Holden, Sales Director for Europe at Invafresh.
Together with Invafresh, One Stop is committed to providing their customers with high-quality products while also being mindful of their impact on the environment. This partnership with Invafresh is a testament to that commitment and a step towards a better future for the environment.
